Get Selected
Get Selected is a functional strength & conditioning program designed to ensure an individual is physically prepared to pass a Special Operations' selection. This training regimen will ensure you can move heavy objects, run long distances, move fast, and endure the rigors that lay ahead. Not attending a Special Operations selection? No worries; follow Get Selected and be the fittest individual in your formation.
Get Selected has been used by individuals to pass Ranger School, RASP, SFAS, SMU support, and French SOF selections.
Total duration: 16 Weeks
Training sessions per week: 6
Session duration: 1 1/2 - 2 hrs (sessions can be broken into two-a-days)
Must have access to: Ruck w/ weight, major gym with standard equipment. A gym with a functional training area, like major military installations’ gyms would be ideal. Certain movements can be substituted in the event you do not have access to a specific piece of equipment.
The program at a glance:
Block 1 - General preparedness, strength and power, anaerobic capacity, MSK durability.
Block 2 - Strength, cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance.
Block 3 - Cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, increased rucking, transferability is maximal.
